WHS celebrated Spring Week this week to acknowledge the final couple of weeks of the 2022-23 school year. Students participated in assigned dress days to show off their school spirit. Dress Days included: Future Self, Salad Dressing, Wacky Wednesday, Decision Day for the Seniors/Red out for the Freshmen-Juniors, and Twin Day. On Thursday, staff and students gathered in the Main Gym for an assembly. During the assembly, the Spring Court was recognized, which was made up of leaders from spring sports and clubs/activities. Chord of the Rings performed two of their acapella songs and a Karaoke Contest entertained the crowd. Every Karaoke performance was fantastic, but Jackson Repinski and Brooke Mason wowed the judges. Jackson placed second with the song "Baby Shark." Brooke Mason finished in first place with the song "Let It Go." After the assembly, staff and students enjoyed a picnic lunch prepared by WHS's cooks. Thanks, WHS, for a great year!
