WUSD Adopts New Transportation App for 2024-25 School Year
WHITEWATER, WI—Beginning with the 2024-25 school year, the Whitewater Unified School District will implement the StopFinder Transportation App to streamline communication between families and Nelson's Bus Company, the district's transportation company.
On the evening of Tuesday, May 28, parents and guardians whose children are currently enrolled in WUSD transportation services will receive an automatic email to enroll with the StopFinder App to access their account. Families are asked not to download the app directly from their mobile application store, which will interfere with the current system automation.
The email will come from no-reply@stopfinder.com and provide instructions to download and activate the app. This early access will allow families to log in and prepare for the upcoming school year.
In-person assistance will be available at the District Office on Wednesday, May 29, and Friday, May 31, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. each day.
The StopFinder app features a user-friendly interface, push notifications, and two-way communication that facilitates direct contact between parents and transportation officials. Users can create customized profiles for each of their children, making it easy to manage transportation preferences and receive personalized notifications.
Implementing the StopFinder app aligns with WUSD's ongoing efforts to embrace technology as a catalyst for positive change. For more information on the app, please visit https://bit.ly/wusdstopfinderappinfo.
